Anybody want a pet?

Ever since we moved into our home we've wondered what and when we would get visitors from the field behind us. That question was finally answered this weekend. When Jimmie was outside mowing the lawn he saw something move on the grass. Thinking it was a worm he reached down to pick it up. Then he realized it was a snake. So we quickly called the kids to see before returning it to the field. Maybe we shouldn't have done that because now it might return again. I told my primary class about this and they were upset that we threw the snake because it might kill it. Do they think we want it to live?
