Contrary to what the clip suggests, this pregnancy wasn't a surprise...well sort of. After we had Paxton I felt like our family was complete and that was the way it would always be. I was so sure about it that we gave away all the baby stuff: car seat, high chair, swing, crib, and all but a few baby clothes.

But then last August I started to have the recurring feeling that we were suppose to have another little one join our family. It's all I could think about for over a week but I didn't say anything to Jimmie because I had been the one insistent that we were done with the four. I thought this feeling was because a couple of my friends had just told me they were expecting or I was going through some mid-life crisis. Then Jimmie told me he had the strangest dream that I was pregnant and we had another one. "Funny huh!", he said. "Sure honey," I replied, "I think there's something I need to tell you." I told him what I had been feeling and decided we needed to find out if our family was suppose to grow or if getting a tattoo or dying my hair some weird color would get me through this. I prayed about it and got the answer that we were suppose to have a baby.

So, I guess you could say this pregnancy was planned, it just hadn't been in Jimmie & my plans. We are excited to have a sweet little baby in the house again and can't wait for it's arrival around September 17th.
