Labor Day

For Labor Day we decided to go to Pineview Reservoir to play on the sand. Jimmie kept getting upset when the kids would call it the beach. "It's not a wave," he'd say as water would come on the sand at the kids, "it's just the wake of the boat." Whatever you want to call it, the kids had fun playing in the water and making sand castles. My sister and her family joined us and brought along a raft to play in. It wasn't until we arrived that we realized they had forgotten the pump to inflate it. But don't worry, the oars came in handy as big shovels for the kids to dig sand with.
