Catching up on birthday fun

Alyssa turned 9 years old on September 28th! For her birthday she wanted a High School Musical party so we invited some friends and got ready for the fun. First we played pin-the-microphone on Gabriella.

Next we had a karaoke machine so they could sing along to all their favorite High School Musical songs. At first all of them were timid to sing, but by the end they were singing their hearts out and arguing over who got to sing next.

Then it was time for the pinata. We had a juke box pinata where each of the kids had a chance to take out their frustration on it until the candy came pouring out.

Now time for the cake and presents. Alyssa loved everything that she received from her friends and family and couldn't wait to open each one.

Then we played freeze dance until the parents came to take their sugar filled children home.
Alyssa had such a great day and we are so glad to have her in our family! We love you Alyssa!

Cute pictures from a fun birthday party. You can't go wrong with a High School Musical party for girls that age? Hannah had such a great time. Thank you for inviting her. We sure love Alyssa. She is a wonderful friend, and so polite!
