What a pain!

For the past couple weeks Jimmie has woken up in the middle of the night with severe abdominal pain. Afraid the doctor would tell him it was just heartburn and he would need to cut back on the amount of soda he drinks, he insisted it would go away on its own. When he finally decided he had had enough of the pain and the sleepless nights, he allowed me to schedule an appointment. He went in and after a few tests they discovered he has an ulcer. The good news is the ulcer is caused by a bacteria and will heal itself but the bad news is it will entail taking a lot of meds for the next 6 months.
