Curriculum change?
Dear Principal,
I did not receive a notice from the school district but was wondering if there has been a curriculum change for what they teach at the schools. I expect them to teach core subjects such as math, reading, science, art, music, P.E. and health, but when it comes to what is good for your body and what isn't I think they are a little critical. Let me explain, Jayden came home from school with this picture depicting things that are bad for you:
I agree with no smoking, no alcohol, no dynamite, no bullying, no violence, even the no driving (I wouldn't trust him behind the wheel since I have seen him play Mario Kart and thinks half the fun is crashing into other cars), but no Pepsi? I admit some parents have some habits that aren't the best such as drinking quite a bit of soda pop, but do teachers really need to point that out to the children? I'm sure my kids will discover and point out our flaws to us, but do they really need help with that now? So I am asking to please take Pepsi off the list of things not good for your body so I won't have a conscience and my kids won't think my husband and I are doing something bad?
Thanks,
Kim

My name is Ralph and I endorse this post.
He's right. You shouldn't be drinking that stuff. Bring it over here and I'll take care of it for you.
haha! That's kind of funny...If our school pointed that out I would have to tattle on the teacher that brought her Diet Coke to the assembly last Friday!
