We always knew it
We knew Gavin was talented but now it's confirmed. (I would like to take credit for being the parent who passed on this talent gene, but anyone who has seen my stick figures or other drawings I had to label so people would know what I was attempting to draw know that it came from Jimmie.) Gavin spends hours of his free time sitting at the kitchen table drawing pictures. We've bought him several drawing pads as an attempt to organize into one place the hundreds of pictures he draws. Even when he gets grounded it's now from drawing because it's the only thing he does not want to have taken away. Today he came home with the following note from the school principal.

I have known this for a while too. When I had him for preschool I was quite amazed. Gotta love that principal!!
