Play Ball!

Kids sports are so much more fun to watch than pro teams. The pros don't tackle the person who gets to the ball first, sit down on the base they are guarding, or throw their mits back and forth to each other instead of watching for the ball. This year we had Jayden in baseball and Gavin in T-ball. It is funny to see how different their personalities are when it comes to sports. Jayden is very laid back and just happy to be out there playing where Gavin has to always be first to get the ball. They both had a great time learning how to play a structured game of baseball, but were more
excited about getting the treat after the game was over.

Yes, this picture was taken in June. Up until last week the weather has been so cold that the kids had to wear long sleeve shirts under their uniforms for almost the whole season.

We put Kelsie in Coach pitch this year. I agree, it was so fun to watch all the girls chase after the ball. I can't wait for Bridger & Garret to play next year.

Those pictures are awesome! You better hold onto those, one day they could be worth millions. Carter says his favorite part was the treats too. I'm glad we aren't the only ones. I remember picture day... it was cold, and I made Carter suffer it out with no shirt on under his uniform. (Dont know why now that I think about it. I think I was just worried about compomising the outfit... turns out it was just as cute with the shirt. Sorry buddy.) You're boys look awesome, and how bizarre that they both played as Cubs! What are the chances??
