Christmas Questionnaire

I received this in an email from my cute friend but instead of emailing it back to the select few on the email I thought it would be nice to share it with everyone. (Don't you feel loved?)

• Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper definitely. (It takes the kids longer to open their presents)

• Tree: Real or Artificial? Artificial! With real trees you are a constantly vacuuming up pine needles and killing the little spiders that seem to live in it. The only down fall is not having that real tree smell.

• When do you put the Christmas tree up? The day after thanksgiving.

• When do you take the tree down? Usually about 3-4 days after Christmas.

• Like eggnog? Yes.

• Do you have a nativity scene? Yes, it's a precious moments one that is plastic so it looks cute yet the kids can touch it and it won't break. Paxton always walks around the house with the shepherds crooks and pretends they are guns as he shoots people.
• Hardest person to buy for? Jimmie without him finding out what I got him.

• Easiest person to buy for? My kids

• Worst Christmas gift? Nothing, we do a family gift swap every year and two times we never received a gift from the recipient.

• Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail.

• Favorite Christmas movie? Christmas story and Mickey's Twice upon a Christmas.

• Favorite Christmas song? Any song from the Celtic Woman's Christmas CD.

• When do you start shopping for Christmas? Usually in August

• Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Yes, but only as an ongoing joke to my brother.

• Favorite food to eat on Christmas? My mom's English Toffee, it tastes amazing!

• Clear or colored tree lights? Clear

• Travel during Christmas or stay home? Stay Home. It is too hard for Santa to deliver with four kids when you're at someone else's house.

• Can you name Santa's reindeer? Yes, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixon, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blintzen, and the most famous of all, Rudolph!

• Angel or Star on tree top? We have Minnie Mouse dressed as an angel holding a star. That way we cover both options!
• Open presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning? Christmas morning with the exception of one which is always an ornament for each of us to put on the tree.

• Most annoying thing about this time of year? Everyone is always looking for the exact same thing for their kid that ours wants.

• Best Christmas present? Jimmie getting a job in Utah.

• Favorite Christmas traditions? Going to see the lights and having a party on Christmas Eve with family where we making cookies for Santa and play games.
