T'was the Night Before Christmas...

T'was the night before Christmas

and all through the abode,

the kids were all hyper

on excitement mode.

They knew that Santa

that night would come,

but before that

there was lots to be done.

We dressed the kids up

like the nativity scene.

Yet when we showed up

no other members were seen.

Some cookies were decorated

and lots of frosting was had,

some pictures were colored and

no one was bad.

Some games were played

where the Nelson's won,

even though family lost

they all still had fun.

Then off to our home

where the kids were nestled tight

for us it was a great time

so to all a good night.
