Bumps and bruises
Paxton has not had a very good day. We were out running errands and had to stop at the masonry place that we're getting driveway pavers from. Gavin and Paxton were taking turns jumping off a pallet and then we proceeded to go inside the building. Paxton was bending down looking at the class display case when all of a sudden he started screaming and grabbing his back. Gavin was standing behind him, so I assumed his big brother was just teasing him or poking him in the back. Paxton continued to grab his back, scratch it, and cry. I lifted up his shirt to see what was wrong when a bee flew out! I couldn't believe it. The bee landed on the floor and stepped on it. Poor Paxton. Then later today we were at the elementary school playing on the play ground while Alyssa had soccer practice. One slide is particularly steep and the kids seem to zoom off it. Paxton decided to be daring and go down on his tummy feet first. In doing so, his body came off the end of the slide and fell to the ground before his head was completely clear and he hit his jaw on the end of the slide. Poor Paxton again. How come it seems like when one thing goes wrong, everything goes wrong that day?
