Thankful for K, L, M, & N...

K: Kids and the funny things they say. We are invited to a party on Christmas Eve where we've been asked to dress up like a character from the nativity. We asked the kids what they would like to be and thought they would choose one of the wisemen. We were surprised when they answered, "I want to be a sheep, I want to be a donkey, I want to be the drummer boy (sorry, that's only in the cartoon), and I want to be the inn keeper so I can tell everyone else to go away." I am glad to see that they at least remember who was involved and what role they played.

L: Love. How we feel when we fall in love with that one special person, and how it grows everyday from being together. The love you feel when you hold your baby in your arms, and it gets stronger each day as they grow.

M: My Mom. My mom taught me so much growing up. She taught me to cook, clean, sew, think of others before myself, take care of a family, that anything can be eaten as a breakfast food (pie, cake, cookies, ice cream), and only pour in 2/3 of the cake batter so you can eat the rest. Thanks Mom for all you've done!

N: Nature. Two of my favorite places to go are the beach and hiking in the canyon. It is so peaceful and relaxing to spend time in these places.

You are very creative, and way to go keeping up on the journaling. Have you heard of how to make a blog book? It'd be good to print all your stuff off.

Your mom and I could definitely do breakfast together sometime. She's my kind of woman! Great list. I want to come be part of your Christmas Eve Nativity. It sounds like it's going to be awesome!
